God’s first Commandment is so important, and if you can just get this one right, the rest are easy!  Putting God first in our lives is best way we can honor the Him as Christians and be lights to the world.  If you miss this command, it is like missing the first button when buttoning your shirt, because the rest will end up being wrong subsequently!  Pastor Dudley explains that we must put God first, because He is the Lord God—He is eternal, personal, and our Deliverer—because this is the secret to keeping all other commands, and because there is only room for One on the throne of your heart.
