Deep within my heart there has always been a passion and a burden to make a difference in the world, and from my first day in the Ministry, I’ve wanted to do whatever was necessary to reach those who are lost and hurting. With the development of modern technology, the Internet, and world-wide access, it was only natural for me to want to have a website that would be used to reach the entire globe for Christ. It's simply amazing that anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time, can log on to a website and have resources that either help them find Jesus or to grow in their walk with Him.
So in April 1997, I founded the Fire in My Bones Ministry. We started out humbly, offering cassette tapes and CDs of my sermons to get the word of God in people’s hands. Then in November 2002, we changed the name of the ministry to CallOnJesus.com and launched a website to offer sermon tapes, CDs, video archives, and Live Video of the Shepherd of the Hills Church services where I preach. We wanted to give people an opportunity to actually call on Jesus.
Since we launched this website, we’ve received all kinds of wonderful and encouraging stories—from people all over the world who log on to watch one of our church services, to a person ordering sermons on CD to give to loved ones, to someone purchasing a book for personal discipleship—all in the name of Jesus.
The Bible tells us that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13), and hopefully and prayerfully this website will be instrumental in leading people to a saving relationship to Jesus Christ. And for those of you who are already saved, I want this website to be a place of continued growth, maturity and discipleship in your Christian walk.
